Caritas Futures is supporting well known charity of Children and young people for Team Leader 'Young Parents' role based in Rochdale

As a Team Leader 'Young Parents' you will be working closely together with a team that focus on to lead and Co-ordinate young parents service providing practical and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, sexual violence, women, and young parents experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The role will be a varied one and will include significant amount of specialist support to children and young people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation to reduce harm and develop resilience.

It will be a Part-Time role.

**Experience**:

- Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people
- Experience of support worker or leading team
- Working with high-risk clients
- Risk and needs assessment
- Multi agency work
- Working with vulnerable children and young people have complex and sensitive issues

Due to the nature of the work the following are essential:

- DBS on update service or one will be conducted on your behalf
- On site working to best support clients
- A driving licence, access to a car and willingness to travel across the region
- Female only - Due to the specific requirements of this role, this post is exempt under the Equality Act (2010), Part 1, Schedule 9
