**Are you an Engineer with experience in an industrial environment? Are you multi-skilled with an electrical bias and the ability to turn your hand to anything that comes your way? Do you like the sound of a full-time, permanent role on a booming contractwith a growing company?**

We at GXO are looking for Technical Engineer Operatives to work at our Manchester site on the Kellogg's contract.Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern - rotating days and nights you will join a team playing a key role in the palletization and deploymentof our customer's products.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We are offering a salary up to £42,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 22 days of holiday inclusive of bank holidays. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Work closely with Kellogg Manchester Factory to ensure onsite finished product routing, palletisation and deployment is sustained by planned and reactive maintenance of equipment to standard
- Work closely with technical supplier trades onsite on planned and preventative activity
- Support FQHS Lead onsite with optimization and loss / downtime removal projects
- Utilise Kellogg systems to ensure part replenishment, use and stock levels maintained

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of the team
- Time served as an engineer with HNC/ONC in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent
- Strong Electrical and control skills and knowledge with basic mechanical skills
- Inquisitive mindset and hunger to learn
- Electrical 18th edition course completed/in-progress or commitment to undertake the certification with the company's support
- Previous experience of maintenance procedures/process within an automated / semi-automated warehouse or palletisation process is desirable
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Modicon PLC, Siemens / Dan Palletiser or similar would be a huge tick for us
- SAP experience is desirable
