The Aspire Training Team are looking for a hardworking an enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare diploma during a 15 month apprenticeship with a childminders based in Charminster, Bournemouth.

Out and About is a small, friendly, home based Childminder’s in Charminster that provides flexible quality care to the their children. It is set in a family home with 3 rooms as well as a large garden and vegetable patch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to get their start in childcare, learning from a professional with over 10 years’ experience and getting hands on experience in a setting where you will get to build a great relationship with a small group of children. Your Duties/ Responsibilities will include:

- Creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally
- Assist with setting up different activities for the children
- Assisting with outings and day trips such as Avon Heath Country Park, Moors Valley, Farmer Palmers and the beach
- Supporting with children’s personal care, including changing nappies Preparing snacks and supporting children with their eating
- Interacting with parents once trained
- Cleaning within the home
- Observing, Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on their progress of each of the children
- To ensure the safety wellbeing of the children at the time
- Ensure that all procedures and guidelines are followed at all times.

You will also need to be a great team player, kind and patient with the children and must be professional at all times. GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 (or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.
