The CCTU Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Cambridge Clinical Trials Unit, to ensure smooth running of the department and provide day to day support for the Operations Director. The post holder acts as secretary to the CCTU Team Meetings, CCTU Management Board Meeting, and other CCTU management meetings and other formal committees as directed. The role includes supporting the Unit’s financial processes and recruitment as well as maintenance of the CCTU website. Experience of working in a busy office with good organisational and communication skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of working in the NHS and/or clinical trials would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

Support the CCTU team in the production of reports and support and advise staff on Trust Recruitment policies and procedures.

Process and track all Annual Leave and Sickness records and manage CCTU staff personnel files

Be responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the CCTU office, as well and invoice processing and payments

Maintain and update the CCTU Webpages
- Assist the CCTU core team in organising Training Events, SOP workshops, initiation and monitoring visits.Working for our organisation
