Informatics Analyst

Informatics Analyst required for a global pharmaceutical firm

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly skilled Informatics Analyst that will be required onsite with some days per month working from home The Informatics Analyst will be expected to lead advanced analyses of methodological data to inform studydesign decisions.

The analyst will create predictive data models to identify and analyse patterns, then program compelling visualizations of these data to support feasibility strategies. As an Informatics Analyst you will require experience within bioinformatics, data science,statistics or epidemiology.

In terms of skills:

- Utilize advanced statistical methods to develop predictive algorithms of methodological and clinical data.
- Translate the results of feasibility research and analysis into compelling data visualizations which illustrate the overall feasibility strategy.
- Perform comprehensive review of data sources to deliver high quality informatics data and analysis to teams.
- Develop and map database architecture of methodological and clinical data systems.
- Work alongside global feasibility leads to contribute to proposal strategy for site and country selection based on available data.
- Assist project teams with preparation for bid defence meetings; and
- Support departmental process improvement initiatives.

Informatics Analyst will require:

- Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computer science/engineering, health information, statistics, or related field required, PhD preferred
- Advanced computer programming skills (preferred language: R).
- Analytical thinker with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks within tight timelines.
- Participate in training and development of more junior team members.
