Plant Technician

Resolute Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Technician for a manufacturing company based in Coventry. This will be a permanent position, within an exciting business that are experiencing a lot of growth at the moment.
Plant Technician
Location: Coventry

**Salary**:

- £22,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
The Job:

- For the role of Plant Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnostic testing, servicing and repairs on HGV/Constructional plant and all defence related equipment, including but not limited to Engines, Transmissions and Hydraulic overhauls.
- You will assess overall condition of product as well as strip in accordance with work instructions.
- Assessing individual components to ensure they are fit for purpose will be required for the role of Plant Technician.
- Evaluate the commercial viability and availability of parts prior to the commencement of any work.
- Build product in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- For the role of Plant Technician, you will test product to OE specification.
- Report any faults to the Workshop Supervisor who will advise what action is needed.
Job Requirements:

- Proven experience of repair & maintenance on vehicles or similar equipment will be required for the Plant Technician role.
- Engine & transmission strip & build experience would be advantageous.
- For the Plant Technician role, excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
- Displays willingness to follow instruction and learn new tasks.
- Knowledge of QHSE Legislation is required for the Plant Technician role.
- Hold a valid driving licence.
- Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
Shift pattern:

- You will be working 8am - 5.30pm
