Nursery Apprentice

Chafford Tots to Teens are seeking to recruit an apprentice at our fun and friendly setting working with children aged from birth to five years gaining experience while you learn.

The moment your journey begins as an apprentice you become an employed member of staff with a paid hour wage and gain a recognised qualification in childcare

Your role will include:

- Demonstrate the ability to establish warm, respectful, trusting and supportive relationships with children across all age groups as well as with their parents, families and cares
- Assist and meet the needs of individual children - Changing nappies, feeding, caring and establishing a relationship with children.
- Ensure that the setting is safe, clean and well presented.
- Attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas.
- Be able to understand and implement the setting’s policies.
- Work as part of a team and provide care for young children in a nursery setting.

Full employment checks including DBS are carried out before employment commences

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £5.28 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
