Transport Planner Pm

**Shears Brothers Transport** is in need of a PM Transport Planner to join our team.

Working from our site at Bournemouth international airport you would be required to work Monday to Friday 1300pm to 2200pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete comprehensive hand over with opposite shift planning supervisor.
- Take ownership of drivers, C&D & Night trunk operations, manage support team.
- Ensure deliveries & collections are planned and executed.
- Monitor drivers progress using TMS & update as required.
- Fully de-brief driving team on delivery and collection performance and update systems accordingly.
- Ensure drivers and fleet and legal & compliant both verbally and updating relevant computer systems.
- Work alongside warehouse team to ensure on time departures to hub.
- Ensure evening trunking is planned efficiently, runs smoothly and on time.
- Ensure hubs are informed of any delays and keep records.
- Complete the pre plan for expected arriving freight.
- Work in conjunction with all depot managers to achieve goals set by kpi's.
- Ensure site security during your shift.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all H&S policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Plan trunking and drivers for the coming weeks.
- Monitor drivers holidays and ensure cover is arranged.

You would have preferably worked within a transport office environment before and have a good knowledge within the transport & logistics industry. Good computer skills and a good communicator both, verbally and written.

You will be working in a high paced environment and would need to cope well under pressure.
