**Our Organisation**

The Cheltenham Trust is the lead provider of culture, heritage, leisure and sport in Cheltenham and we recognise that we need the right people with the right skills to help us achieve our vision, goals and further growth.

The Trust is an independent charity that manages five iconic and contemporary venues at the heart of Cheltenham including the Pittville Pump Room and Heritage Cafe, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Garden Bar, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, Leisure at Cheltenham, and the Prince of Wales stadium. We deliver a wide range of services and activities including hires and events, festivals and shows, exhibitions, leisure, cafes and in-house catering.

**Your role as a Bar Supervisor**

Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will lead our team members in running an efficient food and drink service to all our customers, inspiring them to always provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards.

As part of the trust team, you will also work closely with the events team, looking after our events bars and serving customer during show intervals, community or private events.

**Your responsibilities**
- You will lead our bar team during operational hours, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming environment for all.
- You will play a key role in ensuring the team are trained and have the confidence to follow operational procedures such as opening and closing, cleaning tasks and line cleaning, promotional, product knowledge and upselling.
- You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure everyone's well-being.
- You will ensure our venues are clean and presentable at all times, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers.
- You will work closely with the Bar Manager to complete administrative tasks such as stock control, ordering stock, creating rotas, managing team absences.
- You will share customer feedback and identifying improvement opportunities.
- You will work closely with the catering team to ensure the food and beverage service is coordinated well.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Previous experience working in catering and hospitality, ideally in a supervisory role, where you motivated and led your team.
- Extensive knowledge of bar products and cocktail making
- Ability to perform general cellar duties, such as changing kegs, cleaning lines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and health and safety regulations.
- Attention to details, ensuring the venues are presentable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

**Our Offer**
- Permanent contract (40 hours per week to be worked Monday
- Sunday on a rolling rota)
- Salary £22,500, full time
- Some evening and weekend working depending on venue or events schedule.
