Daily Deli Assistant

Lewis Forecourts Ltd are looking for a Deli assistant to join our team at Pentraeth and Herron Services. The job will be shared amongst both sites.

This is a deli (food service) position, therefore it will be of an advantage to have basic food hygiene and previous experience in food handling environments. Although desirable, these are not essential as full training will be provided.

Duties to include:

- Basic cooking skills
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Baking of hot foods and pastries
- Making fresh baguettes and sandwiches daily.
- Serving a range of lunches and salads from our daily deli counter.
- Cash handling
- Customer services skills
- General Housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Due diligence ie fridge temps, food temps, date checking and rotating.

Rate of pay dependent on age.

**Salary**: £7.00-£11.30 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pentraeth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Food preparation: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
