**A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Associate to join a well established in house legal team. This is a permanent opportunity and offers full autonomy, flexibility and progression**
**Summary of Responsibilities**
We are seeking a Legal Associate to join the Legal Team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Legal Associate ­Core and Corporate Business, this role will be based in the London office. (approx 2 days in the office with 3 days from home) and this isa great opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic in-house Legal Team.
**Responsibilities will include**:

- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including: Member Agreements,
Reinsurance Agreements, Retrocession Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letters of Intent, and Global Accounting Agreements (such as pooling contracts).
- Providing legal regulatory advice to key stakeholders within the business involving: data protection, Companies House, and other corporate governance matters.
- Counselling business units on day-to-day legal issues and areas of risk.
- Providing general legal support.
**Required Competencies**:

- Solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales.
- Excellent legal drafting skills.
- Highly motivated, team player.
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems, making recommendations,
and preparing deliverables.
- Commercial awareness.
**Desired Competencies**:

- In-house legal experience.
