To work flexibly as part of the ACU clinical team to deliver quality care to patients. This includes a range of assigned tasks in support of and supervised by the nursing team and a clinical scientist.

The post holder will demonstrate a level of skill and knowledge which enables them to undertake specific patient orientated tasks in accordance with the Trust’s procedures, guidelines, and policies, as well as housekeeping duties.

The post holder will be required to undertake a range of procedures and practices for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.

The role involves preparing the clinic room and assisting in HyCoSy scans, transferring samples to the lab and maintaining the phlebotomy clinic. Communicating with patients and members of the multidisciplinary team and maintaining stock levels are also key aspects of the role.
