Are you looking for a new opportunity to work in a supportive team?

We are excited to be able to offer 2 Debt Recovery Officers an opportunity to join our Debt Recovery Team, within Revenues and Benefits. The posts will initially be at Level 1.

This role provides a great chance to be part of a fast-growing team, who deal with recovery of corporate sundry debts, council house rents and housing benefit overpayments. The role involves speaking to customers over the phone, making affordable repayment arrangements, dealing with correspondence and data input.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to process high volumes of work with speed and accuracy and is able to work under pressure to achieve targets.

You’re a friendly and confident individual with excellent organisation and IT skills, you work well as a team player and have great communication skills.

Being able to prioritise your own work is essential.

Knowledge of dealing with vulnerable customers in a sensitive manner is essential to this role.
