We have an exciting new role for a skilled & experienced Protein Buyer to join the procurement team of an innovative and exciting B2B operation in Warwickshire

What can I expect?:
Daily Duties will include:

- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with meat & poultry suppliers, ensuring a reliable and commercially competitive supply chain.
- Negotiate favourable terms, including pricing, quality standards, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments related to meat & poultry products.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and emerging opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
