Campervan Builder

**We are recruiting a Campervan Builder for our Yeovil based client for a full time permanent role. They have experienced tremendous growth over the last year and are expanding the current business model. They have a great team over 5 departments who have all pulled together to achieve this success and allow this business expansion.**

**The role ;** You will be converting vehicles and building campers from start to finish, including installation of all plumbing and electrics. Working as part of a small friendly team, The process starts at the pre fit out stage, stripping back the van to its shell, before beginning the conversion process into a bespoke camper van. You will be able to work using your own initiative and have good communication skills. This is a hands on manual role, offering challenges, job satisfaction and the ability to grow and learn new things.

A standard day will include:

- Using power tools to cut vehicles ready for window & pop-top roofs
- Vehicle electronic installations, wiring and coding
- Fitting insulation and carpet lining
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical wiring works
- Wheel changes
- Fitting Air Ride suspension kits
- Dependent on experience additional tasks to include vehicle servicing and suspension installation

**You will possess transferable skills, such as accuracy, consistency, common-sense and efficiency and have a diligent approach to your work. On a personal level you will be positive, flexible, co-operative and be able to work to instructions provided by your manager.**
