Job Title: Spanish Teacher
Location: Chesterfield Secondary School
Working Days: Wednesday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: End of Academic Year 2023
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and GCSE students
- Use a range of teaching methods to cater to the needs of different learning styles
- Assess and monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide language programs
- Participate in departmental meetings and other school-wide events
**Requirements**:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Spanish language and culture
- Experience teaching Spanish in a secondary school setting is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
