Stores Person

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Person to join a well-established, successful, and expanding manufacturing business based in Suffolk.

We are immediately looking to recruit a Full time Skilled Stores Operative within a busy manufacturing factory In Haverhill, Suffolk, this is a challenging role, and the work will be generally in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Stores/Goods in/Goods out
- Receiving parcels/deliveries
- Unpacking and checking deliveries against Purchase order paperwork
- Correctly locating stock into allocated areas
- Picking and Packing of Spares ready for shipment
- Liaise with production supervisors on stock replenishment
- Keeping stores system updated/ carry out regular cyclic stock checks

Other Unspecified Activities
- General related tasks required by Supply Chain Manager - as and when necessary, in support of the company's activities.

The self-motivated, result oriented post holder will be required to ideally offer the following skills & experience:

- Flexible approach may be required to work as and when the demands of the job dictate
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team and create effective working relationships
- Well-developed time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
- Enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual with a desire to learn
- Ability to diligently follow work procedures and practices
- Computer literate
- Communicate well
- Fork truck trained (not essential)
- Experience in manufacturing & MRP / ERP systems an advantage

**Salary**: Competitive dependant on experience £24,000-£27,5000

Working hours: 8am-5pm (flexibility around this)
