Health Care Assistant

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.
Deliver patient care as documented in the care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse/practitioner for the period of the shift.
Supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing
Undertaking specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities
Work in the radiotherapy department of the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre to support cancer patients receiving radiotherapy treatment.
Work will involve assisting with clinics, some administration and reception duties, in addition to supporting patients' needs whilst in the department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
