**Test Technician - Sub assembly**

**Hours of work**:40 per week (8am - 5pm Mon to Fri)

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Finishing Operative / End of line technician to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Newbury, West Berkshire.
**The daily duties of a Build Technician**:
The role will undertake the testing, including full and sub-assemblies as well as maintain, support and develop the finishing / end of line area, processes and equipment.
Responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking build quality assurance
- Assembling and maintaining test rigs and test equipment
- Maintain and develop the finishing and end of line working environment
- Ensuring processes are followed
- Providing advice to engineers

We would be willing to consider night/weekend shifts as well as the day shift so please confirm your preference when submitting your CV.
**The Profile of a successful Build Technician**:

- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical principles in automotive
- Good understanding of test working practices.
- Working experience in an engineering environment.
- Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A structured approach to problem solving.
- The ability to interpret component part, assembly drawings and written documents.
