Your new school
A school located near Cheddar are looking for a Part time class teacher to take their year 6 class. This two-form entry primary school is a popular primary school and has a friendly and warming staffing team. The curriculum encourages creativity and independenceto expose the children at the school to the culture richness of Bristol. You should expect to be surrounded by a hardworking and motivated team of staff.
Your new role
Due to start in March on a Long-term basis until the end of term, this is also a part time role, and you will be working alongside another year 6 class teacher on a job share. If successful, you will be responsible for a year 6 class of 24 children. This rolewill require planning, delivery and marking. The school are looking for someone who will be able to hit the ground running and quickly captivate and inspire the students to learn.
What you'll need to succeed
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
- Experience in teaching key stage 2 is preferred but not necessary.
- A comprehensive understanding of the English national curriculum.
- You will need strong communication skills.
