**About the service**:
Our client provides specialist to young people and adults who have a learning disability or complex need, this is done on a respite and day care basis.

***Benefits for a Support worker**:

**Duties and Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant (Residential Care)**:

- Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing
- Providing emotional and mental health support
- Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling
- Observing and monitoring the well-being of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
- Updating care plans

**Requirements for the Support worker (Residential) role**:

- Level 2 Health & Social Care, Level 3 is desirable
- To provide support to people with complex learning disabilities
- To have a positive “can do” attitude
- Some weekend and evening shifts along with sleep in duties on a rota basis
