**Team Lead Site Procurement**

**Overview**:
ENERCON Wind Energy UK Ltd. are looking for a Team Lead Site Procurement to join our Project Management team. This role has dual responsibilities as a Team Lead and a Buyer. The amount of time dedicated to being a team lead may vary from time to time according to team requirements. The role will manage the procurement of site-specific services for wind farm construction, such as crane hire and logistics.

**Main Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations**:
**Team Lead**
- Define the purchasing strategy and policy in line with the strategic objectives of the business
- Managing the purchasing department: optimizing its organization, recruiting new talent, leading and training the team, etc.
- Participating in negotiations: supporting your teams on sensitive or strategic issues and monitoring framework agreements

**Buyer**
- Select suppliers according to Company guidelines and parameters: costs, quality and deadlines
- Negotiate and conclude contracts
- Carrying out requests for quotations (RFQ) and negotiations
- Manage purchasing projects: monitor milestones, implement processes and tools, etc.
- Monitoring and reporting on suppliers and purchasing performance: drawing up specifications, defining key performance indicators, observing costs and budgets
- Procure quality products or services at the best price and manage partnerships with suppliers who respect their commitments (delivery times, CSR approach, quality/price ratio, etc.)
- Participate in the development of contract templates & procurement processes in the region taking into account country legal specifics

**Qualifications and Profile**:

- Ideally you will be educated to a degree level with a background in engineering procurement (5 years min)
- Leadership experience is essential to succeed in this role, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience of conducting negotiations in a commercial environment
- Experience with project management and tender processes
- Contract management experience in Europe would be an advantage (France, Benelux, UK, Ireland)
- Knowledge of the French language (spoken/written) would be an advantage
- You must be willing to travel frequently within the Western Europe region (France, Benelux UK and Ireland)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
