**KITCHEN STEWARD / PORTER | £9.66 per hour**
- All colleagues working in our full-service restaurants (Rajinda Pradesh, Huck’s, The Pancake House, Foresters’ Inn and Lakeside Inn) will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service._

As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team disposal of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas. Responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the kitchen manager such as, sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery.
- Be able to work under pressure
- Have the ability to work on their own or as part of a team
- Have good communication skills
- Adhere to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards at all times

**HOURS OF WORK**

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work either 90 or 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will generally fall between 7am and 11pm.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**

**Desirable requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / Porter is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
