Are you a passionate Welder, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Welder to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Cambridgeshire working as part of their Engineering Department.

There are multiple positions available for both MIG and TIG Welder Fabricators.

The company are a well-established Engineering firm who are a leader in the Food Conveying systems industry making full food cycle machinery and the steelwork it sits upon.

Principle Responsibilities for the TIG Welder:

- Reading engineering drawings
- Reading, understanding, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Checking dimensions and thicknesses
- TIG Welding Stainless Steel between 2mm and 5mm into a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
- MIG Welding Mild Steel Box Section and Fabricating
- Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
- Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- Cutting and grinding metal
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas

Person specification:

- Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
- Experience of Welding
- Experience of use of lifting equipment
- Manual handling training
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Proactive approach to safety
- Use of hand tools

This is a full time permanent TIG Welder position, Monday to Friday 8am till 4:30pm with overtime, offering an annual salary of up to £35,000 DOE plus overtime plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
