This role supports our Southern Hubs so ideally you will be based somewhere easily accessible to our hubs either in Romford, Cardiff, Fareham or Birmingham

**SALARY: up to £55,000 per annum**

**Job Description** What You’ll be Doing As QEHS Specialist**
The QEHS Specialist will be acting as a business partner to Chubbs Southern regional areas and value streams, coaching individuals and teams on QEHS matters
**To do this you will**:
- Support the organization so that they are able to implement all elements of the QEHS IMS and achieve compliance and best practice for all matters of QEHS
- You will play a key role in the deployment of QEHS strategies and improvement plans and to support business operations in their deployment of safe working practices
- Regularly engage at team meetings, report progress, trends, improvement opportunities and escalate concerns and non
- compliance,
- Conduct site visits and investigate accidents with robust root cause analysis
- Promote and assist in developing a culture that will achieve a safe workplace, free from occupational hazards that also protects the natural environment and contributes to the conservation of natural resources.
- Manage your own time and engage with the relevant stakeholders to ensure audits, site visits and accident investigations are carried out in a timely manner
**Qualifications** What We Would Like You To Bring**
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and IOSH Certified member (CertIOSH)
- Other Environmental and / or Quality Qualifications preferred
- Experience in working with and communicating efficiently to a dispersed workforce working from regional hubs within the UK & Ireland
- Involvement in dealing with multiple sites with a clear understanding of Construction Design Management (CDM) and Facility legislation, this includes Legionella, LOLER and The Regulatory Reform ( Fire Safety ) Order 2005
- Maintenance and attainment of Health, Safety (45001), Environmental(14001) and Quality(9001) ISO standards and associated industry standards, this includes management of internal and external audits
- Competency in accident and incident investigation with root cause analysis producing robust action to prevent re-occurrence
- Ability to communicate with all colleagues with the business, external clients and suppliers
- This role will require travel across our Southern Hubs and Ireland so you would need to be open and flexible with travel _
