Reporting to the Production and Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross functional teams including sales, production, and customer operations, to ensure we continually meet customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

- Become technically proficient in the products supplied by SBZ, in order to become a point of technical support and advice for customers and other SBZ departments
- Work with the Product Managers to learn formulating chemistry
- Support the Product Managers in day to day activities
- Keep data sheets updated, relevant and correct
- Calculate blend corrections and provide recommendations for the plant as required (for approval by the Product Managers)
- Become trained in the laboratory analytical techniques to assist the laboratory team either with hands on additive testing and analysis or coordinating testing work
- Perform any other duties or related tasks as requested
- Have a background in Chemistry
- Chemistry or Science Graduate
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work without supervision
- The ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Calm under pressure
- Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, numerical and problem solving skills
- Good record keeping skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £34,000.00 per year
