Hgv Road Sweeper Driver

Overview:
J Cupples and sons Ltd are delighted to announce that we have an upcoming position available for a sweeper driver full time. Due to an expansion at J Cupples and sons Ltd and more workload, based at Armadale West Lothian we are looking for a class 2 road sweeper driver to join our team. HGV class 1 or 2 ,driver CPC are essential for the position a CSCS would be great if not we can put you through for one, Road sweeping experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training would be provided to the successful applicant.Hours of work would be averaged around 50 hours per week mon-fri with the opportunity of overtime Sat and Sun jobAs the face of the company, it is imperative to have customer focused attitude, showing reliable and flexibility with a positive work ethic and a desire to complete day to day tasks to a high standard and time keeping is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily checks on truck before leaving for job every morning
- Greasing and wash truck
- Keeping vehicle tidy
- Deliver a great customer experience
- Operate in safety first culture
- Acting in a professional manner
- Take pride in J Cupples & Sons name and vehicle

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Previous experience as a road sweeper operator (not essential as full training will be provided)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must have a driver CPC

**Salary**: £10.09-£16.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Driver CPC (preferred)
