Equipment Library Support Worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work in our medical equipment library, where you will be responsible for the prompt delivery and collection of medical equipment to and from ward areas.
Duties will include booking equipment in/out. Cleaning, checking and preparing equipment for issue. Checking and maintaining stock levels. Maintaining computer and paper based records.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The Medical Equipment Library Support Worker will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Central Equipment Library store.
They will be involved in the development and expansion of the library facility within the Trust to ensure the delivery of customer focused, cost effective and efficient services.
They will be responsible for ensuring the prompt delivery and collection of equipment to clinical areas and maintaining records re the same.
The Postholder liaises with clinical and technical staff, which will include working in clinical areas. This often requires a flexible approach to working patterns to ensure work can be undertaken with minimum disruption or delays to patient services
To support and assist other members of staff in the department as required.
