**Purpose of the role**

**Accountabilities of the role**
- Providing guidance, coaching, sharing best practice, and promoting an inclusive and supportive team culture
- Developing talent-related processes, practices and strategies
- Proactively managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle from identification of the role, through to job offer.
- Hiring manager advisory. Providing support and guidance, offering constructive feedback in a supportive manner to enable team managers to improve their skills and knowledge, and develop within their role
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote a positive employer brand
- Tracking and reporting on talent-related metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Feed into workforce planning and forecasting

**Success Looks Like**
- Values-based interviews conducted at the earliest stage
- Time to hire reduced
- Cost per hire / overall recruitment costs reduced
- No increases in attrition (hire right first time)
- Raised VoCoVo brand profile as an employer

**Essential skills, experience and qualifications**
- Previous experience in Talent Acquisition is required and a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, advertising and interviewing
- Experience in recruiting for technical/software development roles is desirable.
- High degree of initiative and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to build strong trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with the confidence to lead and challenge decisions where necessary
- Ability to gather and analyse information to evaluate the success of recruitment strategies
- Possess a strong understanding of the importance of Inclusion & Diversity and have the ability to ensure fair and inclusive hiring practices
- Proactive by nature - makes things happen
- Professional and understands the need for confidentiality as a cornerstone of the role
- A qualification in HR or Recruitment (CIPD or equivalent)

This is a hybrid working role with the expectation that the successful person will attend offices at Shipton-under-Wychwood and Bishops Cleeve for team days, meetings, interviews, or any other business need as they may arise.
