XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for people to join them at a large manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. This opportunity offers the potential of long term employment they are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to become a key part of their manufacturing departments.

**Responsibilities**

Duties will include;
- Support sales desk which includes sourcing, negotiation, creation and review and testing for competitive quoting.
- Reporting stock and stocktake delivery for monthly management accounts
- Day to day cost efficient purchasing of stock and sub contract orders generated by MRP systems, including control of account levels, delivery cost, purchasing specification.
- Identify which products would need to be purchased
- Establishing quality control and ensure that the stock which has been purchased meets company standards
- Support the sales team in order to meet the company’s overall strategic aims
- Working with sales team to ensure efficient control of the sales desk to meet the requirements of the customer and company
- Cost management and effectively look for cost reductions, cost avoidance and price competitiveness
- Updating the production and management team about delays and any problems with products and supplies

**Preferred Skills / Experience**
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and management of information streams
- PCB knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential
- Previous experience of a fast-paced purchasing environment
- Excellent IT Skills
- Experience working in a electronics or engineering environment would be beneficial

**Hours**
- 38 hours per week
- Monday - Friday

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Buyer: 1 year (preferred)
