**Position: Insurance Broker**

**Location: Essex / East London**

**Salary Guideline: £35,000- basic + Commission Excellent prospects**

In a competitive insurance broking market you need to stand out from the crowd.

Price is important, but relationships and client service in this firm counts for so much.

Due to continued growth from new business and a very high repeat business rate, there is now a great opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance broker to take on current accounts and build more business from current accounts and new business.

There Is a great commission structure to add further to a generous basic salary and great prospects for year 2.

**Requirements**:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide a professional quotation service and advice to inbound callers.
- manage an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Deal effectively with insurance issues due to changes in requirements.
- Quote on and explain renewals. Retention rates are excellent at this broker.
- Develop relationships and cross sell additional cover when possible.
- Following up on requests for quotations and deliver best practice.
- Maintaining high level customer service and new business development
- Consult on client requirements and offer the right products.
- Maximisation of all sales opportunities
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Advise on areas for improvement and provide potential solutions.
- Understand the processes and procedures required.
- Make sure all product information provided is clear, fair.
- Calculate Renewal premiums in accordance.
- You are hungry to develop your career and need more challenges.
- You want more autonomy and decision-making responsibilities.
- Happy to take on the opportunity to grow your client base and earn more.
- Understand the legal principles of insurance and contracts & obligations.
- Understand technical knowledge of the full product range.
- Understand the coverage provisions, exclusions, and conditions of the policy.
- Strong negotiation and people skills
- 3- 5 years of previous insurance broking experience
- Happy to work 5 days a week in a busy office environment based in Essex.
- Happy to work with corporate and personal clients.
- Looking to grow your client base in year 2 to increase your earnings.
