**Who are we?**

Based in Kingston, Milton Keynes, we are a national driving school with approximately 600 instructors covering many areas across the UK. We consistently take over 500 weekly bookings, exceeding 1000 bookings during busy periods. On top of that, we have instructors wanting to join our company every week, too.

The company coped well during the COVID-19 pandemic, the current cost of living crisis, the 2007-2008 recession, and more. In fact, we have never made a staff member redundant since the company was formed in 2005. We have an outstanding national presence on Google, social media, YouTube and through mobile Apps, too. **Job description**

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has possibly worked in administration or content writing and is looking to enhance their skills.

We are looking for someone with excellent reading and writing skills who ultimately enjoys writing content.

We are a fast-growing company with new instructors joining us weekly; in many instances, we will need to build website pages for new areas with quality content on the page to help promote driving lessons for the instructors in a new area. Someone familiar with CMS systems would have an advantage. However, training can be provided, and it’s straightforward to learn.

Design work will be passed onto you to be proofed, and you will look for any mistakes before website pages, brochures, business cards, and general digital marketing go live or print.

Over time, design might be something you would be willing to learn, and if that’s the case, then full training will be provided.

You will liaise with the company director and the office manager daily on the needs of our instructors and act accordingly by adjusting our advertising settings.

This opportunity may also appeal to a marketeer, and any skills or knowledge in search engine optimisation would also be beneficial. Again, training can be provided as our advertising techniques will probably differ from any previous employment.

Ultimately, if you can read and write content well, our in-house marketing team can train the rest of the skills.

If you are a manager at the moment and have most of the skills we have mentioned already, then your title and responsibilities can be adjusted sooner.

**Daily tasks**
- Content writing for the website. Meticulously edit, proofread and customise content to ensure quality, consistency, and authenticity.
- Managing Google Adwords accounts - training provided.
- Assisting with SEO tasks to keep the website on the first page of Google for many popular search terms - training provided.
- Managing social media daily, including sponsored adverts - training provided.
- Working closely with our website developer and the director of the company daily
- Working closely with our office manager, making sure all of our instructors stay busy with work
- Communicate with driving instructors about their needs and requirements.
- General administration skills - assisting existing staff
- Processing orders

**Minimum requirements**
- Must have excellent English reading writing skills and an attention to detail
- Experience in administration
- Computer literacy and must be competent with software such as Word and Grammarly
- Must be willing to learn
- Must work well under pressure, have good initiative, and be a team player

**Salary**:
£27,000 to £35,000 a year

**Working Hours**:
40 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

This is a full-time office position; we do not offer hybrid working.

**Training**

We don’t expect applicants to be coming to us from a previous driving school with the relevant industry experience, so full training will be given.
You will work closely with the director of the company and an existing senior manager to develop your knowledge.
