DHL Pensions UK takes care of UK related pension topics. Pensions UK aligns processes with the Trustee and the head of Pensions UK is a member of various Trustee Committees. All pension related administrative tasks for past and current employees as well as for retirees and their surviving dependents are conducted in this department. In addition to these administrative tasks, Pensions UK effects the pension payments.

**Job Purpose**:

- You will assist with the responsibility for the day to day administration of a number of in-house pension arrangements.

**Your tasks**:

- Assist with all processing of the daily interfaces for the administration of the pension scheme
- Assist with all processing of the daily investment and disinvestment through straight through processing (STP) for the pension scheme, and the subsequent daily balance of the funds
- Processing web site queries and issuing of scheme related documents as required
- Process work in accordance with documented work flow procedures
- Providing support and information to the Team Leader
- Maintaining and developing personal knowledge and skills relevant to the responsibilities of the role
- Taking responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work
- Complying with Company procedures and the requirements of the industry regulator
- Achieve set targets in line with internal service level agreements.
- Liaising proactively with other team members to ensure clarity and successful delivery of pension administration services to the scheme membership
- Understand the needs of scheme members and employees
- Ensure completion of work within SLA’s
- Contribute towards identification and understanding of internal processes that need to be adhere to
- Develop and communicate processes where they do not already exist to ensure that effective operations are maintained

**Your profile**:

- Maths and English at GCSE/O-Level grade C or above
- Progress towards relevant professional qualification, DPC/QPA/RPC preferable but not essential
- 1-2 years experience within similar role
- Proven knowledge of DC/DB pension arrangements
- Awareness of service standards and statutory disclosure requirements
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- IT literate and numerate
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Document Image Processing would be an advantage
