Matron

**Matron**:
The Matron deals with the health and welfare of the pupils, and has a special role in assisting the Housemaster/mistress to create a happy and well-ordered atmosphere throughout the Boarding House.

The position requires someone who understands and empathises with young people and is able to demonstrate good sense. They should have excellent interpersonal skills, be a good listener, flexible in outlook, reliable, warm and friendly in disposition.

The role is part time working 30 hours per week and 34 weeks per year. The usual working hours are from 8am until 14:30 and includes weekends on a rota basis.
