Epos IT Support Trainee

**Who we are**:
RST EPoS provide innovative Point of Sale (PoS) solutions, online ordering and table ordering solutions for businesses of all sizes in the hospitality and retail business sectors; to help them to improve operations, increase revenue and provide great service to their customers.

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic IT support trainee to join our team in Derry. You will be rewarded with the opportunity to grow and develop professionally with one of the largest EPoS systems providers in Ireland.

**Core responsibilities**:
This will be an office-based role which will involve assisting in the efficient and effective running of the Support Desk including:

- Logging information into the helpdesk management software and keeping customers informed of progress
- Analysing 1st line faults, identify problems, researching answers and guiding customers through corrective steps
- Installing and configuring PoS software and assisting with set up and configuration of EPoS hardware for new installations

**Note this is not a standard call centre analyst type role**

**Requirements**:

- Confident, outgoing and eager to learn
- Well-organised with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
- An excellent communicator/relationship-builder both with colleagues and customers, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be IT/computer literate but a formal IT qualification is not required
- Have at least 5 A*-C grades at GCSE including Maths and English

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry
