**Our prestigious global financial firm is actively seeking a Reconciliations Clerk to become a part of their team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days based in the Manchester office and 2 days working remotely, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.**

We are a leading provider of financial services for institutions, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals, offering a wide range of services through a client-focused approach.

**About the Role**:
The Reconciliation (RCOE) team collaborates globally to achieve goals and targets. As a Reconciliations Clerk, you will be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The team uses various reconciliation tools and systems to identify, monitor, and resolve discrepancies, leveraging up-to-date technology to collaborate with internal colleagues. This role demands strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to escalate potential risks to both peers and senior management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
As a Reconciliations Clerk, you will be responsible for a range of duties and tasks, which may include, but are not limited to the following:

- Reconciliation of stock, cash, and funds positions.
- Responding to internal and external queries.
- Monitoring and reporting processing activity.
- Updating data in internal systems.
- Acting as a point of escalation for reconciliation-related issues.
- Updating key stakeholders across the business.
- Playing an integral role in system, process, and automation changes.
