**Role**

The purpose of the role is to ensure robust purchase to pay processes are in place and adhered to by the PTSG Business. This involves the timely processing of invoices and resolution of queries for a high volume of purchase ledger transactions for subsidiaries of PTSG. In addition, the role ensures supplier payments are made accurately and on a timely basis by supporting the inputting and allocation of bank payments.
- Issuing and recording of Purchase Order numbers following approval
- Registering, recording and matching supplier involves with Purchase Orders and processing of invoices and credit notes
- Issuing and recording intercompany purchase invoices, including pass through invoices
- Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers
- Liaising with budget holders / Managers to validate invoices and resolve supplier queries
- Timely responses to suppliers in relation to any queries
- Reconciling supplier statements reconciliations
- Support the preparation of supplier payments
- Process and allocate payments to suppliers
- Raising discrepancies through the appropriate channels ensuring transparency throughout the organisation
- Review and posting employee expenses
- Reviewing and developing supplier processes and controls
- Related filing and administration associated with the above
- Any other duties as commensurate with this position

**Essential Criteria**
- Proven accounts administration, purchase ledger experiences in a similar position is desirable
- Strong IT skills with Microsoft Packages (i.e., Excel) and Sage
- Good Communication skills and team player who is good at building relationships
- Great attention to detail and well organised
- Be able to priorities own workload to meet deadlines
- Highly motivated with a ‘can do/ hands on’ attitude with a professional manner
- Experience within Construction or similar business would be advantageous
- Team player who takes ownership and accountability for tasks
