Head Butcher

We are looking for a lead butcher to join our team. This is a unique opportinuty to be involved in an exciting new project within a beautiful rural farm shop & cafe enviroment. Local produce will be the core value of our business, 'farm to fork' ethos is our usp.

This position will require enthusiasm and will give you the freedom to explore your own creativity. It is important that you enjoy providing great customer service and take pride in presenting quality and traceable meat products.

It will be a varied role with many disciplines including boning, sausage making, pies etc, dealing with customers as well as maintaining a clean and tidy environment. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the butchery. Being a lead role you may be expected to help and guide younger members of the team as well as develop new products and profitable lines. We are looking for someone who will be committed, reliable, trustworthy and innovative.

Experience is required.

**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
