Due to substantial business growth situated on our newly-acquired site, Heler Foods Packing in Minffordd, Wales, a QA Auditor role has arisen within a growing Quality Team.

This role will require a proactive and hands on approach within a production environment. This individual will need to have a positive and constructive approach towards H&S, Food Safety and Quality, whilst communicating and liaising between the operations and Quality team. Team work, honesty and transparency is absolute paramount, to ensure site compliance, whilst ensuring teams are valued, engaged and encouraged to escalate any issue or potential for improvement. This role will report into the Site Technical Manager.

The main roles and responsibilities of this role will include:
Ø Routine monitoring and verification of site food safety/ quality compliance, to include structured Daily QA checks, GMP audits, line hygiene checks, traceability and process record compliance.

Ø Effective non-conformance & proactive concession management for internal process control, to include root cause analysis with relative teams. All recommendations, to include corrective and preventative actions will be communicated effectively for review.

Ø Verification HACCP/ Food Safety and site pre-requisites, under guidance from QA Manager.

Ø Conduct routine audits against Quality schedule to include internal audits, glass & brittle plastic audits, GMP and Food Safety/ HACCP/ Quality audits.

Ø Review and support with external pest control audits for site.

Ø Assisting with creating, updating and implementing of QMS, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Visual Guides, One Point Lessons (OPL’s) and QAS.

Ø Review & update site ‘Hold & Release’ system with Quality & Operations team.

Ø Training and support of QMS policies/ procedures.

Ø Participate and support within other Quality functions & activities, to include laboratory support.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
