**Salary**: £52,084+

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Management and development of export control toolsets that are fit for purpose for the Air business, are simple and effective and drive the right compliance behaviours within the business
- Supporting the delivery of the overall strategy for managing export control compliance output across Air. Interfacing between the other export control capabilities and functions as required
- Providing an export control and compliance service for the Operations capability supporting Air level activities that could include toolset management, improvements, sanctions/embargo screening, material tracking, access, permissions and control, nationality checks, ad hoc query/JIRA and confluence service management and insider threats
- Supporting the team with the resolution of programme issues, pulling through and collating advice or information from other teams as appropriate

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**:

- Educated to degree level (equivalent will be considered)
- Experience in one of the following Functional areas: Legal, Export, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, Engineering or Manufacturing
- A high level of self-motivation, proactivity, and flexibility, with the ability to operate independently of direct management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to digest and exchange complex information, and excellent written, presentation and IT skills

**Desirable**:

- A working knowledge of export control regulations, business processes & procedures
- Knowledge of IT toolsets and automation

**The Air Export Control Team**:

As part of the Export Control team, you will be integral to the delivery of the Air Export Control Compliance strategy. Working within the Operations capability, the role works closely with Heads of Export Control, Export Control Managers, and other Export Control officers
