**About the role**
Working in partnership with Darlington Borough Council, Humankind have been successful in securing funding via the Single Homelessness Accommodation Project fund to provide accommodation and support to young single people aged 18-25 with complex needs, who are at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping. The service will work alongside and complement existing provision in Darlington.
We are recruiting a small team of outreach staff who will provide support to young people across 8-12 units of accommodation which will be dispersed across Darlington.
Staff will hold small caseloads to allow capacity for intensive work with young people to enable them to identify and address key issues in their lives and develop the skills needed to move on and live successful independent lives. **Joining the team in these early exciting stages will also provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the set-up and shaping of the service.**
