Remedials Groundworker

Here at Axcess, we’re currently in the market for an experienced Remedial groundworker for an exciting opportunity to join our busy housing client in the Barnstaple area. Excellent rates of pay based on experience and opportunity for a temp to perm position.

12 Week trial with opportunity to go on the books direct with the client. *Subject to performance feedback.

Travelling across various sites carrying out remedial works.
- Reporting to the Site Supervisor.
- Assist with the preparation of sites, including unloading and storing of building materials and plant.
- Store, handle, use and dispose of materials in the correct manner
- Perform physical tasks such as basic timber shuttering, drainage and kerb laying, material mixing.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment including wearing full PPE, at all times.
- Follow all training and reasonable instructions given.

To be successful for this job role you must have:

- Valid CSCS
- Proof of right to work in UK
- Work on own initiative
- Be reliable and punctual
- Hard working
- Respectful
- A good team player
- Ideally be able to commute to and from site Daily
