The Behaviour Mentor:
To be eligible for this Behaviour Mentor position, you must have experience working with children with SEMH needs who have challenging behaviour. You do not need a Level 3 Behaviour Mentor qualification for this role, however experience working in an AlternativeProvision, or a similar setting is essential. You should be a resilient Behaviour Mentor with good communication skills and a clear ability to build effective relationships with the pupils.
The Behaviour Mentor Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor at this school, you will be working closely with the pastoral team to provide effective intervention support, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will spend time between periods moving pupils into their lessons and ensuring allare present. You will also occasionally provide in-class support, working with students to support their learning and increasing their engagement in education.

This fantastic Alternative Provision based in Dudley caters for pupils with SEMH issues and challenging behaviour aged 11 - 16. Leadership is forward-thinking and are proactive in promoting the wellbeing of their students and staff above all else.
