**Monday - Friday hours between 11:30 -19:00 with a 30 minute unpaid break and alternate Saturday mornings 08:00-14:00 averages at 38 hours per week.**

This is an all year-round post, **not term time only** - holidays to be taken in school holidays.

**The Appointment**
- Responsibilities and Core Duties of the Post_
- As first point of contact, greet all visitors to the school with a smile and a warm welcome, signing visitors into and out of the premises in accordance with school policies
- Deal with incoming telephone calls quickly and efficiently, directing calls to the appropriate staff, taking clear & concise messages
- Handle peak periods in a calm manner, managing visitors to reception, incoming calls, messages via radios and the intercom
- Oversee arrival and collection of pupils from the main school day, after school activities and clubs ensuring all school policies are strictly adhered to
- Be aware of and comply with all school policies and procedures which include child protection, health, safety & security, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Be willing to undertake First Aid training and be a qualified First Aider on site

.Occasional additional out of hours work if required - namely if the school is running an event at our new Oak Theatre
