A new opportunity has become available for caring enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team at The Lodge, based with the Beautiful Buckshaw Retirement Village, Chorley, to provide the best quality of life for our residents
- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of pay: £10.50 p/h, increasing to £10.80 after six months. Plus an additional 50p per hour for nights
- Hours of Work: 24 - 42 hours per week.
- Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- **£1000 welcome bonus
- **You will be paid £500 after completing 3 months’ service with us, and upon successful completion of your 6 month probation period, you will also receive another £500 (T&C - Pro rata for PT employees & only applicable to night carers)
- **The Role**:_

By becoming a Care Assistant at The Lodge, you will support our services users to maintain their independence by helping with everyday tasks and activities, in line with their individual needs. Full training is provided so if you are new to the care sector, we will help you start your journey with confidence.

The Lodge is made up of five separate nursing and residential communities centred around beautiful secure gardens and our Market Square that offers our residents access to a cinema, café, hairdressers and activity hubs where a dedicated activities team host creative and dementia-friendly events.

The HICA Group are a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community
