Staffordshire, United Kingdom Hygge Care Full time

As an expanding business we are constantly seeking to recruit and maintain the best talent in the market place, we pride ourselves on fully supporting our employees in both personal and professional development. We also believe that employees should be paid a fair package (salary, pension, training and benefits etc.) for the responsibility and work we ask of them - in return for this support we expect employees to be fully engaged with their work (and if we have done things right then passionate too).

We believe we offer a series of innovative benefits for employees in this sector, including but not limited to active pension scheme, bonus scheme (based on role), clear expense policy and perhaps most importantly a competitive salary.

Contract Type: Full time - Permanent

Are you motivated, self driven, responsible, caring and looking to expand into an opportunity for personal and professional growth - we are recruiting for a senior care worker at one of our therapeutic residential children's service locations in the South Staffordshire region.

Hygge Care provides a truly therapeutic service focusing on achieving quality long term outcomes for children. The children's ages range between 5-12 years of age. We continually strive to improve on our successes by recruiting and retaining the very best team available - therefore we recruit only the best.

As a key member of our team you will help to support a managed period of stability and consistency for the children, helping to address the presenting issues which are preventing the child from integrating successfully into a family setting. Hygge Cares' new Prep4Fostering service targets reintegration of a child, back into a long terM/Forever fostering family, after a period of 12-18 months within our home.

As a member of our team you will support the children to explore their feelings, memories and emotions they experience in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Be qualified to NVQ Level 3/4 in children and young people or equivalent
- Be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills
- Have relevant experience working with children and young people
- Be flexible to work a shift rota system which includes sleep-in's, weekends and bank holidays
- Be passionate about working with children and young people and wanting to make a difference to their future
- Have the right to work in the UK
