Bridgewater Primary is a welcoming three-form entry school, with its own nursery provision, situated close to Abington Park. Our creative curriculum and strong team spirit permeates throughout the school. We work hard to ensure our children receive an education, which is fun and underpinned by high standards and expectations.

Working alongside a supportive team of experienced practitioners, who will provide help and guidance, the role will focus on supporting children’s learning and wellbeing, involving delivery of targeted interventions with individual children, small group sessions, supporting the whole class or providing more in-dept support for children with Special Educational Needs.

**Your role will also include 2 ½ hours per week providing lunchtime supervisor cover.**

It would be beneficial to have experience in:

- Developing consistent and nurturing routines to engage children in learning
- Supporting engagement in shared activities
- Visual schedules and/or the TEACCH approach
- Supporting social and communication needs, including interactions and structured play
- Supporting a child in 1:1 session and on a whole class basis.
- Developing social interaction skills

We are a caring community, with supportive parents and Governors, and a staff room often filled with laughter

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 0840-1530, with ½ hour for lunch, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus training days)

Start Date: ASAP

**Salary**: Grade D points 3 - £20812 to 4 - £21189 (salary stated is the full time equivalent - part time posts will be paid pro-rata - **actual starting salary based on hours above would be £15257 per annum**)
