Trainee Fire

**Position: Trainee Fire & Security Engineer**

**Location: Based in Chadderton**

**Salary: £21,973.00 per annum**

**Hours: 43 Hours per week**

We are advertising this Fire & Security Engineer on behalf of our client 'City Facilities Management’. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Assisting Engineers with multiple system type installation to commissioning of intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, Access Control systems, EAS and other bespoke security systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.
- Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates, communicate with Project Managers & Engineers to ensure projects and small works are completed on a snag free base and tothe specification.
- Ability to commission and handover systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations.
- A basic understanding of fire alarms, CCTV and security systems
- Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.

**Desirable: A qualification in security or CCTV/ Fire alarms/ engineering.
