**Job purpose**:
As a key member of the Key Account Management Team, the successful applicant will supervise, inspire and create a sustainable culture of service excellence within your key account of daily cleaning.

Through direct line supervision of a team of Cleaning Operatives, you will drive delivery standards and provide technical assistance to these teams as required. You will monitor company safety, operational and service delivery standards across your key account, in line with the Company’s strategic objectives and the agreed target operating model. You will drive the Company’s training programme across your teams, ensuring a consistent approach within the account.

You will support the Key Account Manager in maintaining cost control across your responsibilities and support the Company’s growth plans through effective customer engagement.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the supervision of all operational employees including effective resource management, recruitment, induction, development, coaching and performance management
- Support site quality audits to ensure that standards are maintained across all sites to consistently achieve KPIs and reporting back to the key account manager.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels at all times ensuring to notify the administration team of the required replenishments in a timely manner.
- Cover planned and unplanned absences
- Uphold and comply with all health and safety and data protection regulations as well as ensure their team are also compliant
- Live the Company values by leading by example.
- Report any faults or health and safety concerns to the key account manager.
- Carry out any reasonable request by the key account manager.
- Provide supervision, direction and expertise to operational teams.
- Support and mentor operatives in delivering service excellence.
- Support the key account manager in delivering a cost effective way for meeting our clients services within the agreed target operating model.
- Support and deliver the group strategy to retain all clients
- Support the delivery of organic growth as agreed with Group Operations Director, identifying sales opportunities from existing clients and your wider network.
- Offer hands-on support and flexibility to reflect the 24/7 nature of the contract, inclusive of being
- “on-call”.

**Essential**
- Proven as an experienced person who understands all aspects of cleaning (daily cleaning, specialist cleaning, support services, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Pro-active, with a continuous improvement mind-set and attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Process driven, and the ability to support staff in a safe and constructive environment.

**Pay and benefits**:

- £13/hour M-S & Sun £14/hour
- 20 days holidays + statutory B/H
