Due to the very sad loss of a member of our team we are looking for an experienced Carpet & Flooring Measurer/Estimator to work within our fast-growing family run carpet & furniture superstore in Diss. With customer service at the heart of our business, you will take pride in delivering a top rate service to all customers.

The successful applicant will accurately measure, quantify, and cost quotations as well as helping customers identify and purchase products that they desire. Extensive knowledge of the carpet and flooring industry is vital to the role.

The successful applicant will be required to attend off-site customer appointments in order to accurately measure their desired area and answer any questions or queries that the customer may have. Once measured, the successful applicant will provide the customer with a cost estimate based on their preferred choice of flooring. To add to this there will be times that you will be required to work in store as part of the flooring sales team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Welcome and greet customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Ascertain customers’ wants and needs
- Recommend and present items that match customer needs
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Keep up-to-date with product information
- Attend appointments on time
- Accurately measure and cost estimate flooring areas
- Professionally advise and answer any questions that the customer may have
- Consistently provide the highest level of service to all customers
- To uphold the John Doe reputation of quality customer service

**. **Full UK driving license essential. Van provided for off-site appointments with fuel costs covered

**. **Competitive salary will be based on experience and credentials. Guide: £32,000 - £36,000 (No commission)

**. **Preferred working schedule: Sunday in store sales (10-4) and then attending customer measure visits Monday - Thursday (8am - 5pm). Please enquire for more info
